Limited Time Only

Dear Eva & Angelo,

Angelo today you said something when we were going to sleep that brought tears to my eyes.  “I’m going to love you forever and ever and I’ll never forget you.”  It is very sweet, but it also scared me.  Your Daddy isn’t very healthy right now, and I know I’ve been saying that, rather writing it to the both of you for a few years now.  But it is the worse its ever been.  So I’m trying my best to take that fear and do something with it, the thought of becoming ill, and leaving this world early breaks my heart.

We had a battle royale yesterday, with ball pit balls and some inflatable obstacles.  “Headshots,” by Daddy.  I believe I won, but it was so much fun to run around and chase the both of you.  

I love you both very much, with all my heart, and I want to be here as long as possible for the both of you. 

Monster in the Hallway

 

Dear Eva,

Last night you were scared of something in the hallway as you were getting ready for bed.  I ran out of your room and found you in the hallway, but you didn’t really seem scared.  You didn’t look at me, and you seemed to even smile a little.  You were calm, confident, and sweetly said, “thank you for saving me Daddy.”

Dear little ones,

Happy New Year!

It is a bit late, 221am actually.  It is a long weekend since tomorrow is Friday and I will be taking a week off on Monday, which I haven’t done in too long.  I am looking forward to playing with the both of you and tickling, and wrestling, and eating pizza, and going to the park, and bothering the both of you because I haven’t had this time for a very long time.  Angelo you will be staying with us for a full week so I am very very happy this is happening.  Eva will be so happy to play the whole day.  I’m really looking forward to it.  I’ve been working from home because of the pandemic, but even though I’m home, I’m still far.  This job is slowly killing me, but at the same time I am very thankful for it, but I miss you both, very much. 

I haven’t mentioned it, but Mommy Babe, lol, bought a go-kart/ATV, and despite not having any instructions, I got the damn thing on today.  I have to complete a few more things tomorrow, but it should be ready to ride around.  So I hope that will make both of you very happy. 

I love you both very much, and I appreciate every moment we share.
