Very Sick
Dear Monster,
I'm feeling like a lousy father today. You have been sick for about three weeks, constant fever, you haven't slept well, and you have had a bad cough for about a week. We have taken you to urgent care twice, and each Doctor has told us that we just need to ride it out with you. You have gotten better, and then you have gotten worse. But these last few days, you haven't been able to keep down your food, and have been refusing to eat. You have also been very emotional, you don't want to leave my side, you are very moody, you only want to be carried, and last night you told me you love me about fifteen times before you fell asleep.
Yesterday you were very moody, you said you were sad, and I ignored you for a bit thinking you would get over your mood. You got up, kicked your chair, and I still ignored it. After about five minutes, I picked up your chair for you, and you began to cry very hard, telling me that you were smiling and you were happy now. It broke my heart.
Today, after your mom picked you up, you ate about an hour. I'm very happy you ate, but I'm very sad to think that maybe it is because you feel that I didn't give you enough time and attention. I will be seeing you in two days, on Tuesday, and I hope you remember that Daddy loves you and that you will be happy to see me on Tuesday.

Hair Cut
Dear Eva,
So your mom, thought it would be cute to cut your hair in kind of a bob, B line style cut. Short from the back and long run the front with bangs.
I don't know what possessed her to think she could create that style with just scissors, but hey, she took the initiative and did it anyway.
Almost everyone that sees your hair is in absolute shock. I don't think it looks that bad, I mean, you do look like a little boy, and you do have my face, but it looks kinda cute. But apparently everyone else doesn't think so. At all. In no way.
But your mom thought she was doing something cute so... You can't blame her. Sometimes she just doesn't know any better.
Ok, so maybe it was me and not your mom... But that's not the point!
